Are You an "Extremist"?

While I will admit the timing of the reports release is beyond suspicious, people need to keep in mind two very important things.

1. It was Bush who commissioned these reports

2. A report on "Left Wing Extremists" was released back in January.

Although it is obvious that the release of this report was timed to coincide with the Tax Day Tea Parties, it is unwise to react in a manner which runs contrary to ones personal beliefs. Yes, the government was out of line for the timing, however the indignation and outrage must be expressed intelligently, otherwise one is only lending credence to the claims of extremism.

I'm worried about the honesty and integrity of our elected officials. I'm worried about fiscal responsibility. I'm also worried about those who claim to be the party of LESS government while trying to pass laws that intrude even more on decisions that I believe should be personal in nature. The fiscally responsible party that keeps it's nose OUT of of social issues (decisions that I believe should be MINE, and mine alone!) is the party that will get my vote. It hasn't been easy for years. The left is TOO far left and the right is TOO far left. I'm all for a third---MODERATE---party.

The first report on left wing extremists, as always, was buried by corrupt biased media. I'd love to see that one too. It's obvious that if it was prepared by the same group of mental giants that put together a report listing military veterans as potential dangerous terrorists, we can surely expect at least entertainment from the list of left-wingers. Anybody got a link to that jewel?
