"Their criticism was beyond just differing on points of substance. Like pigs they wallowed in rhetorical feces, smeared it on their faces, as well as each others, and then belched it out across the airwaves."
I have no problem with people having different opinions than I do or than anyone else, but why do so many people find it impossible to actually talk about substance and instead make personal attacks? At least to me, the moment someone makes a personal attack rather than addressing the issues (no matter the topic) I view it as them admitting that their opinion is wrong and/or that they have not thought enough about it to have a real discussion on their viewpoint. Unfortunately, the author of this article drops down to Perez Hilton's level with the title.
