I for one, support old fashioned, traditional, Adam&Eve Marriage.

Naturally marriage is a man and a woman. Always has been, until, tragically, recently.

It's todays twisted liberals and liberal democrats who want to make everyone support them and their views. If we don't then we are:biased,"homophobes",bigots, intolerant, rascist, hateful, judging them and so on.......

I hate to burst your bubble however, Christians didn't invent marriage and the pagans practiced marriage long before. They also performed same-sex marriages.

You do happen to be a bigot, you should wave the flag rather than act it then deny it.

Dustin, I don't care if you think I have "bubble" to burst, because I do not believe in your "pagan history"...

Anyway, I believe Marriage should be protected and honored, look at Jon and Kate, so devastating to know that they will be another statistic of divorce!

I believe Jon just gave up, it is so sad.

You don't believe in the recorded history of our planet? That's a pretty uneducated approach.

It doesn't matter what you think anyways, you're on the losing side and, this country isn't about protecting your status, it's about providing equal opportunity.

I can see where this argument is going to go (or isn't) so I'm going to refrain from continuing any discussion with you...at least for lack of a better opponent (you really don't believe in history?!).

Should you actually cite the history of which you speak, it would be of no more than mere hypothesis. Even the Jewish history recorded in the Torah is recorded from centuries of oral history. It is because of my personal experience and faith that I believe marriage is a Godly institution, long since hijacked by pagen governments who believe they can do a better job; however, they have yet to prove that to be the case. It is exactly the degredation of the family that has descended our society into ruin. An unbridled "me" attitude that leads you to make statements such as:

[i]t doesn't matter what you think anyways, you're on the losing side and, this country isn't about protecting your status, it's about providing equal opportunity.

Equal I assume means anything you agree with and support. You refuse to have tolerance adequate enough to stand up for freedom of others with differing views; but demand they change their way of thinking to conform to your beliefs or be called a bigot. Webster defines "bigot" as: "a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion."

So, who here is the bigot? USA4him who states their belief without condemnation, or Dustin who says USA4him is wrong and is a bigot for their beliefs?

Disagree with respect. this is a decisive topic for which all sides should be considered equally important.

I don't get the concept of this AT ALL. First of all, my marriage only concerns me and my husband. I don't much care what anyone else thinks about our relationship. Secondly I don't get how people can "support" other peoples marriages. Do they cheer for you when you come into a room? Call you up and check on the state of your relationship? Or is it just another lame club where you SAY you support something and then do noting about it...like those magnetic ribbons on people's cars?

Either way, leave me out. I can support my own marriage.

Have you never learned something from someone else's example, hearing about their experience or simply get a good idea from someone? No one lives in a bubble. We are all affected by the things we watch on tv, who we hang around with, the people we work with and so on. You affect your friends whether you realize it or not. I sure hope that you understand how your actions, even to your spouse, affect those that see them.

    m-mash,

I am offended and shocked that you would actually delete my comment when it was definitely not a violation of the COH and it was my opinion as a conservative christian american woman. It was on topic and apparently offensive to you.

I am offended but this too shall pass. It is further proof of how the truth hurts.

I will also delete you as my friend and will avoid commenting on your seeds.

    God Bless you.

Why did we all get deleted? It can't be what we said...we all had different opinions. None of us said anything offensive. So why moderator?

The deletes were not me. A coworker thought it would be fun to play on my laptop while I was out of my office. I won't even tell you what he did to my facebook profile. Sorry. I will try to remember to lock it next time.
